Step-by-step plan

Use the supplied materials to take a leaf sample. Follow the steps carefully for a reliable result.

 

1.

Take a sample of a symptom-bearing leaf from the top of the plant. Preferably wear gloves.

2.

Cut off 1 to 2 cm of the leaf and place it in the supplied tube.

3.

Close the tube and shake vigorously until the leaf is well dissolved.

4.

Use the pipette to drip 3 drops of the mixture into the test cassette window.

5.

Wait 10 minutes to read the result. The signal lines should be bright red.

Note: if too much plant material has been used, the test line may turn green.

Check the sample for PepMV
