Healthy plants are essential for successful cultivation. Viruses such as Pepino mosaic virus (PepMV) and other plant viruses can spread unnoticed, which can lead to yield loss and quality problems. Rapid detection is therefore crucial.

Step-by-step plan
Use the supplied materials to take a leaf sample. Follow the steps carefully for a reliable result.

Take a sample of a symptom-bearing leaf from the top of the plant. Preferably wear gloves.

Cut off 1 to 2 cm of the leaf and place it in the supplied tube.

Close the tube and shake vigorously until the leaf is well dissolved.

Use the pipette to drip 3 drops of the mixture into the test cassette window.

Wait 10 minutes to read the result. The signal lines should be bright red.
Note: if too much plant material has been used, the test line may turn green.
